Shoebox World brings joy!

Welcome to Shoebox World… where you create your own gift-filled shoebox online and we send it out to a child in need.

No shopping trips, wrapping paper or hours of time required – just a personalised gift sent by you to a child who needs it most. It’s a great way to give this Christmas.

Here a boy from Angola expresses his appreciation:

Here’s how it works:

1. Visit the Shoebox World website and start creating your personalised shoebox.

2. Choose your wrapping paper, gifts and add a personal message and photo.

3. Our team of volunteers will then make up your shoebox and send it out to a child in need.

Once you’ve done it, we’ll even give you a personalised shoebox graphic, which you can have some fun with – plot it on our Shoebox World map or post it on your Facebook page.

Enter Shoebox World now to start creating your own gift-filled shoebox.

If you’re still not sure quite what to make of this, then watch this short video to see the joy your shoebox could bring to a child in need …

This sounds like a really good idea to introduce more people to the idea of contributing a shoebox to children in need?
Will this idea be in use for Christmas 2011?

I have not been able to find out how to send a shoebox online. Are you offering this option again this year? If so, you need to get it up and running soon. I have to advise people via a newsletter how they can get involved, but I can’t do this as I am unable to access the site.

I have passed your message and email address to Samaritan’s Purse and have asked someone to respond to your query. I hope you will hear something soon. God bless, Tony
