Film – ‘The Nativity’

The Nativity

As a presenter for Premier Christian radio, I have been promting a film that is a must see this Christmas.  Let me share with you a quote from Premier’s MD, Peter Kerridge:

“I am excited to bring you news of an excellent and creative way to share the true Christmas message with your family, friends, neighbours or colleagues this year. From 8th December you will be able to see a major new film from New Line Cinema in cinemas across the UK called “The Nativity Story”. This film represents a real opportunity to revisit the Christmas story in a new and refreshing way.

We have seen this film in its entirety and are strongly recommending it on to everyone as we regard it as the most important Christian entertainment resource since Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ”. It is not a “sugar-coated” treatment, but an earthy and gritty portrayal of those early passages in The Gospels that will be told and retold in churches up and down the country over the next few weeks. We found this film to be deeply respectful of the Christian faith and we know that the Director and producers have gone to great lengths to engage the advice and commentary of theologians and historians with a view to creating as much authenticity of the world Jesus the Christ was born into. It is well acted and the story is beautifully told.

We have created a special area in our Premier Online website where we will be posting more information and features on the film between now and the release date, so remember to bookmark the page! This special Nativity Story page is open exclusively to you today as subscribers to Ignite e-newsletters. Why not click on the button below now to visit the Nativity Story page where you can be among the first to view the exclusive movie trailer?”
