The former Arsenal and Bolton midfielder made headlines around the world earlier this year when he suffered a heart attack on the pitch. He was clinically dead for 78 minutes. His chances of survival, let alone recovery without brain damage, were minimal. Yet he defied the odds and the devout Christian is here to tell the tale. He chatted about his faith, footfall and why he thinks God saved him.

Tony is a Superintendent Methodist Minister, broadcaster and author. He is a radio presenter with Premier Christian Radio and a regular contributor to BBC Radio 2's Pause for Thought (5.45 am). Tony is married with two children and four grandchildren.
