Sky loses Cross Rhythms

After 8 years of broadcasting on Sky Digital, Cross Rhythms believes the time has come to move on from their satellite broadcasting platform. This will come into effect on Monday August 14th after consideration over the past three years.  They wish to focus their work in two areas:

1) Their successful FM model for Christian radio which they have been pioneering across Stoke-on-Trent (they received a new 5 year licence and two further FM stations are due to start broadcasting in the next year – Plymouth and Teesside).

2) The effectiveness of their newly re-launched website – currently the most popular UK Christian site with over 130,000 unique visitors a month. They see the development of internet radio as a key part of their future.

Tony is a Superintendent Methodist Minister, broadcaster and author. He is a radio presenter with Premier Christian Radio and a regular contributor to BBC Radio 2's Pause for Thought (5.45 am). Tony is married with two children and four grandchildren.
