Bio in brief:
Tony Miles is a Methodist Minister and the deputy Superintendent at Methodist Central Hall, Westminster. He is married to Frances and they live with their two children in Loughton, Essex. Tony is a broadcaster who currently presents the Saturday breakfast show for Premier Christian Radio and has become an occasional contributor to BBC Radio 2's Pause For Thought. Tony's latest book 'Maybe Today' was published on Easter Day 2009 by CWR. In 2003, Tony and Frances wrote their first book, Like A Child. Tony is a regular contributor to ‘Living Light’ published by the Nationwide Christian Trust. Tony is actively involved with many organisations – including being a founding trustee and deputy chair of the Church and Media Network. He is also a trustee of the Christian Evidence Society, the Chigwell Riding Trust and Methodist Central Hall, Westminster. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Loughton and Buckhurst Hill, and a supporter of Fulham Football Club, and likes to keep fit himself through regular visits to a local gym.
Media Chaplaincy: The Methodist Church has released Tony for half of his time to pioneer the role of ‘media chaplain’. This is an ecumenical project (funded by the Essex Churches and the Methodist Church). He also serves as a representative of the MediaNet (formerly the Association of Christians in the Media) and offers a chaplaincy primarily to commercial radio staff, including Premier Christian Radio.
