Tony Miles interviews GP Taylor about his latest book for children about Vampires

On Premier’s Big Breakfast today, I was asking ‘How should Christians handle Halloween?’

I had been speaking to a vicar in London, the Revd Beverly Mason, who is hoping to take the horror out of Halloween with a special event focussing on light instead of witches, and to cut crosses into pumpkins, rather than scary faces.

I was then joined by on the phone line by a bestselling author who’s been described as ‘Hotter than Potter’.  It was the Revd GP Taylor, who’s just published his latest novel – The Vampyre Labyrinth: Red Eye.  The man himself is as interesting as his books. He’s an ordained priest, ex-policeman, exorcist and paranormal expert, who found fame with his best-selling children’s book Shadowmancer, which is being produced as a Hollywood film.

I had only read a quarter way through his book by the time I interviewed him. I asked him about Halloween and why he had written a book for children about vampires: http://doiop.com/gptaylorint
