The Lord is my sheepherder
I want for nothing
He gives me rest in green meadows
He leads me along quiet trout streams
He leads me along the road of righteousness
When I hike through death’s dark glen
I have nothing to fear
For thy presence is with me
Thy staff and thy crook
Brings me comfort and protection
He lays my table with the best of food
In the sight of my enemises
He anoints my head with oil from his own horn
And my cup brims over
And God’s goodness and unfailing love
Shall be mine all the days of my life
And I will dwell in his presence
For ever more and ever more.
