Premier’s Big Breakfast guests Saturday 30th October

On the Big Breakfast this week we’re asking how should Christians handle Halloween?

I’ll be speaking to REV BEVERLEY MASON – vicar of St John the Evangelist Church in South Norwood, London.

I’ll also be chatting to a best selling author GP TAYLOR who’s just as interesting as his books.  The former-vicar, ex-policeman, exorcist and paranormal expert will be talking about his new book The Vampyre Labyrinth: Red Eye.  People have claimed he has written the scariest book ever for children!  I’ll try and find out why he id it.

We’ll also be kicking off a brand new competition this weekend – the Big Breakfast Kitchen Karaoke.  Two listeners will be given 45 seconds to sing something live on air for the chance to some fantastic prizes.  If you would like to have a go at this call  08450 21 21 21 (after 7.30am).  NATALIA RONI – who is an upcoming musician will be judging the competition and talking about the national talent show she’s involved in called Open Mic UK 2010.

And finally, GORDON MCCANN from Samaritans Purse will be telling us about their annual show box appeal – Operation Christmas Child – which opens on Monday 1st November and closes on 18th November.

Make sure you are tuned in to the Big Breakfast from 6am – 11am every Saturday.  Interviews from 8.20am.

Tony is a Superintendent Methodist Minister, broadcaster and author. He is a radio presenter with Premier Christian Radio and a regular contributor to BBC Radio 2's Pause for Thought (5.45 am). Tony is married with two children and four grandchildren.
