Kind faces for the workers?

Diverse Friendship

The day returns and brings us the pretty sound of irritating concerns and duties.
Help us to perform them with laughter and kind faces.
Let cheerfulness abound with industry.
Give us to go happily on our business all this day,
Bring us to our beds weary and content and undishonoured,
And grant us in the end the gift of sleep;
For Jesus Christ’s sake.

Amen.

Robert Louis Stevenson (1850 – 1894)

Stevenson was the 19th century Scottish writer,  and poet.
Among his most famous works are treasure Island and Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
